The Crankers are at it again - raising much needed funds for vision research by cycling 100km around the beautiful Hockley Valley countryside. This cause is very close to our hearts. We participate in Cycle for Sight because it is a fantastic one day ride in support of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Gavin Morrison is the inspiration for our team. Gavin was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at the age of 5. This disease has stolen almost all his vision. Gavin constantly faces the uncertainty that his symptoms might change, worsen, or result in complete blindness. And despite this, he never complains.
The Foundation Fighting Blindness is on the edge of major scientific breakthroughs thanks to everyone who supports "The Crankers". Funding for stem cell research is how we'll restore vision for people like Gavin who are living with retinal eye diseases.
Thank you in advance for your support through this campaign. We are thrilled to be fundraising for such a worthy cause. If you woluld like to learn how your donation will advance this important and exciting vision research, please reach out to Ann Morrison (team captain and Director of Philanthropy at the Foundation Fighting Blindness) firstname.lastname@example.org
